SickKids Wellness Program - Run Team Training
Fridays 5:30pm - 6:30pm
March 9th to May 11th, 2007
A beginner training program with the goal race of the Mississauga Marathon 5K or 10K. The program will meet once a week for planned and monitored group runs, strength Training and Stretching Sessions.
This program is for beginner runners who have little or no experience through to seasoned 5K runners.

-Evaluation of your current fitness level
-Instruction on types of training, fitness, Strength and Conditioning from a certified Personal Trainer Specialist
-Support of a group of people to run with
-Race and training support to get you through those tough runs

$80 for this 10 week training series

Team Sign-up for the Spring Run Off
Anyone interested in running on the SickKids Healthy Workplace Team for either the 8K or 5K at the Spring Run Off on April 7th please bring your payment to next Monday's class in room 1250 between 5pm and 5:30pm.
Group Entry is $42 per person for either distance. $40 is the race entry fee and $2 covers the online entry fee. Proceeds from the race entry fee goes toward Prostate Cancer Research at Princess Margaret Hospital.
You do not have to be a member of the training group to sign up for the team but you must be an employee at SickKids.

Spring Run Off 8K runners
For those of you aiming for the 8K at the Spring Run Off; there are some in the group who are meeting at 5:15 at room 1250 to get a bit of a longer run in before the classroom session.
All the beginners will continue to meet at 5:30 to run together.
