SickKids Wellness Program - Run Team Training
Mondays 5pm - 6pm
July 20th to September 21st, 2009
This program is suitable for all levels from Beginner to Advanced. The program will meet once a week for planned and monitored group runs, strength Training and Stretching Sessions. Group runs will consist of speed and strength training, conditioning drills and injury prevention.
What you get:
-Drills based on your current fitness level
-Instruction on types of training, fitness, Strength and Conditioning from a certified Personal Trainer Specialist
-Speed, strength and conditioning training
-Technique and injury prevention
-Support of a group of people to run with
-Race and training support to get you through those tough runs
-Social events

Sign up is now available for the SickKids Wellness Program's Running Program.
There are three ways to sign up:
1) by Credit Card or PayPal just click on the 'PayPal' link at the bottom of this page and you will be re-directed to the secure PayPal website.
2) by mail just download the Application and Health Questionnaire and mail them with a cheque for $90 payable to Tony Denford to the address below:

Pickering, ON. L1V 7A8
Applications must be received before April 27th.
3) in person, download the Application and Health Questionnaire and bring them with you to the first class along with payment in cash or cheque. In-person applications will be taken on a first come first served basis and this class has been capped in the past so please e-mail me before the class to secure a spot. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for the class to ensure there are no issues with the health questionnaire.

SickKids Pub Night
As is tradition at the end of each class we have a pub night to celebrate everyone's hard work during this running session so this Monday is Pub Night.
We will meet at our usual time of 5pm in the Devil's Advocate pub which is on the South West corner of Edward and Bay St just one block east of SickKids. I heard a rumour that the pub has changed it's name recently so whatever pub is now on that corner is the one.
I look forward to seeing you all there.

Running Program Starts Tonight
October 27th sees the start of the SickKids Fall Running Program and there is still space available in both the Beginners and Intermediate/Advanced Program.
Registration is still available until space runs out or next Monday November 3rd.

The next round of SickKids Running programs start THIS MONDAY, October 27th and it's not too late to sign up.
There is still space available in both the beginner and intermediate/advanced programs so sign up today before it's too late.
